I am working on a chart that has a lot of Back Stitching and would like to convert the primary chart to a grey scale and put the Back Stitching and French Knots on that for ease of use when stitching. I would still need to use color on the the new grey scale. Is this possible?? Any suggestions as to another way to do it?? I have seen this type of charting done in some magazines.
Thanks

I've seen it too.

The only thing I have seen with PCStitch is with the product itself, not a print and that's to use highlighting. If the colors for backstitching are not used heavily elsewhere, you can, one at a time highlight that color which will highlight the backstitching, too.

As for printing, the only thing I can suggest is a copy of the pattern with and the backstitching used only. I don't know of a way to specify the "pale" or gray main stitching.

You can post that as a suggestion for future versions.
