I'm doing something wrong. In attempting to simplify a few patterns (mostly to turn it back to a black and white design after using an image that was turned into shades of gray) I'm able to mostly complete it just by replacing colors with black or white, but then I end up with 15 of the same color. Even when I change them to the same symbol. When I go to print it, I get a long repetitive list of " * 310 - 20 stitches, * 310 - 450 stitches, * 310 - 5 stitches," etc etc. Is there a way to do this where when a color is replaced with a color existing in the palette they're just grouped together? I've worked out a complicated process to go through and individually replace them and it's exhausting and time consuming, which is pretty much the opposite of what I was trying to do in the first place.

I'm not sure how you ended up with all those different listings but you're probably putting them together wrong.

What you should do (using your * 310 example) is drag one over the next one in the Floss Palette panel. You'll get a little pop-up of Replace or Cancel. Select Replace and all instances of the replaced one (the one you've dragged onto) with the one being dragged. Keep doing that and all extra instances in the floss usage will go away.

Thank you! I'll try that when i get home. I've been right-clicking to replace, not dragging anything. I knew there had to be a better/faster/simpler/easier way!
