What exactly is Mirror Mode? I thought it would flip the image but when I try to use that function nothing happens. I tried selecting the image and clicking Horizontal Mirror Mode but nothing happens.

Demeris,

Mirror is to be done WHILE you design. I find it very difficult to use. As you click one stitch, the "mirror" stitch is automatically created.

For creating what you want, you would copy a section and then flip it horizontally and/or vertically to make a mirror image of it. It's a totally different project (but I feel much easier to do).
