Does anyone know where I can get the beginners Instructions.
Reason I ask, as it may seem straight forward, there are quite a few people who don't know what back stitch and the other stitches are.
Also, some people need a helping hand, so what I'm looking for is something that I can print off (or Copy) that will tell an absolute beginner about how to start Cross stitching.

hello there..Gill (UK but living in Ireland) here...all the X stitch mags have a section, usually at the back, for beginners, with instructions and photos, and they also have a website too. Examples:World of Cross Stitch, Cross Stitcher,Cross Stitch Crazy..try www.cross-stitching.com , and see how it goes..good luck and happy addiction!

Your link does not work. Are you sure you have the site right?

sorry about that...weird...I don't know why that is..I shall have to collar someone who knows more about this technical stuff (virtually anyone else!) locally...it's bound to be something daft I've done or NOT done. Thanks for your forbearance...cheerio.

I found the problem and fixed your link. I suddenly spot it. The comma at the end of the site address was included as part of the name when you clicked on it. I just added a space between the "m" and the comma and voila! It works!
