If you wish to change ALL of one color to another color, you can do it two ways:

1 - click on the "wrong" color in the floss palette (defaults to bottom of window).
Click to open the available color palette and select the "right" color.
Click "Replace" at the bottom and all instances of the "wrong" color change.

2 - Click on the Available colors palette and add the "right" color.
DRAG that color from the Floss Palette to over the "wrong" color.
You'll get an option to "Replace" or "Cancel".
Click "Replace" and the "wrong" color suddenly becomes the "right" color.

If you only want to work within a given area, then use the selection tool to mark off the desired area of change. Then the two methods above give you an option for the entire pattern or just the selected area.
