How do I upload a pattern to the PCStitch User Group. I can see how to download but not upload.

Cynthia,
You need to have registered with the POL user group (separate from this board). Then you click "Share" from the Online tab.
Be sure you follow copyright. I will be notifying Mark that there are a fair number of copyright violations in the user provided patterns. It needs to be cleaned up.
The information was found in the PDF user's manual that is included with a full install.

I clicked on online patterns in PCStitch and registered there. Do I need to also go to the POL website and register?

I finally saw the share button. I thought it would be under online patterns. When try and load a pattern I get an error code C:\inetpub\wwwroot\PCStitch\Service\Storage\F3055img.jpg I guess I will not be able to share.

Cynthia,
It's not you.
I have uploaded images before. I got a different .jpg mentioned but the same error message. I'll contact Mark.

Today the share button is back-lit. No uploading today.

Cynthia,
I contacted Mark on the issue. Not only would share not work, the "Remember Me" didn't work either and I hadn't even closed PCStitch 11 between tries!
Mark is checking into the issue. He apparently has shut it down while he works on it.
Just keep an eye on it. The fact that it is shut down is a good sign. When it comes back, try it again -- and post in case I miss it.

Well, you're right that the share button is back but the error is still there. On the other hand, "Remember Me" worked this time. It's a weekend coming up. I'll wait until Monday to check with Mark on it again.
Thanks,

Thanks, Cynthia.
I've been busy elsewhere and hadn't had a chance to check. I still got an error at one point but I was able to "share" a pattern. It was just a test and I removed it a minute later.

Hey guys/gals,
I've followed the instructions in this thread but there seems to be no way to upload my own creations to share with folks. I can see how to download shared patterns from what appears to be POL sellers.

You must use the "Share" option and use your login info for the forum (at least that worked for me). The "Share" option uses the pattern currently loaded. You give it a category, name ans so forth and then click "Share".
It worked for me just a minute ago.

It seems like there are two different logins involved with PCStitch. One is for PatternsOnline and the other is this forum. I found that I had to use the one for the forum. If I tried the POL ID, I got the same error.

Good afternoon,
I got the error for both types of logins. It'd be nice if it worked. But again I have my Patreon which does the job. Once again thanks for trying to help out.
Have a safe weekend,
