 How to make the grid bigger

I understand how to change the font and the gridlines, but how do you make the actual printed pattern larger for easier reading

For viewing, just change the zoom factor. I usually use 200% for 14 count. Note, that grid is larger or smaller depending on the stitch count selected for the pattern.

For printing, under the General tab of the Print dialog, just select "Specific stitches per inch". The smaller that number, the bigger the grid is for printing. The default is 10. If you make that 8, the grid will be bigger.

Note - it will take more paper/space the bigger the grid squares are. Also, you can affect things some if you Off or On the Grid Page Palette on the Grid Page Options tab. If it is on, there is less to print/page because it leaves room on the right (by default) side of the page. If off, more space is available for the grid. You can also adjust how much pattern is printing by adjusting any overlap. Unless you're VERY good, I still suggest at least a 2 stitch overlap just to make stitching easier.
