If you're talking about the print options, the only reason I can think of that it would be grayed out is if you are printing a pattern that was created by someone else.
If it is your pattern, that option may be grayed out if you use the pattern libraries but I don't know.
If you let it print, does it show the correct copyright?
In my experience this happens when you use one of the included images or fonts, and even if you end up deleting the image/font from your final pattern that box stays grayed out and the copyright note cannot be removed.

That's what I was referring to when I mentioned the pattern libraries. The images and fonts ARE the pattern libraries. They used to be separate items that each came with a shorter version of a very old version of PCStitch. They've been a part of the main program since version 9. It was a nightmare for me to get them installed for version 8 and the old Windows Vista!
Well, it's annoying that the copyright statement won't go away even if you remove the pattern library item from the project.
I think the reason is you might have made a copy of it elsewhere and then to use it without giving credit is a violation. It's hard-coded by the developers and it's not likely to change.
