Is it possible to download and install new or other fonts into the PCStitch programs?
Thank you,
Heather

In what way - fonts?

If you're talking about "stitched fonts", it accepts any windows font. As for new actual stitching, you can create your own. Many of those in the library now were originally add-ons.

I have found user made fonts not related to stitch throughout the web that are downloadable and was wondering if the program would use these downloaded fonts if added to the font folder or if there was another way. What I want to use is a really fancy script that I don't see in the font section of this program....I don't know how else to word what I am asking, sorry.

If the font is a normal display font of the type known as "True-Type", it can be used for stitching. When you want to use text, just select the tool "Text" and select True Type instead of Stitched to show what fonts are there. Even the strange ones like the cross-stitch fonts used for PCStitch and Wingdings are there.

I don't know how you add a font to Windows but that's all you need to do to make any new true type font available for PCStitch.

You can also create or edit any existing stitched font using the enhancement tools.

Good Luck,

Diane
