Please can you help me.
Problem:
1. I have just bought the programme and I’m working through the tutorials. On the 3rd one I have followed the instructions to import kids.bmp but when I do so I can no longer access the tutorial. I have tried resizing to no effect. So how do I work through the examples without losing the tutorial?
2. When I left click on help and left click tutorial it does not does not start the tutorial. When I right click on tutorial it does not start but gives me other options. The only way I can access the tutorial is by closing the package, reopening it and accessing it through the welcome screen. So how do I open the tutorial through help?

God bless,
Steve

Sorry for the delay, Steve. It took me a few days to get a chance to check out your problem. It's been more than 10 years since I've done anything with the tutorial.

However, you're right. While the import wizard is open, all other PCStitch options are inactive. You don't need the "welcome" window to get to the tutorials. There is an option under "Help" for the tutorial but that doesn't help much. You need the help while you're working through the import option the first time.

What you can do is look up Import in the User Manual PDF file. It's chapter 5 (page 67 of 98) on how to Import an image to create a pattern.

If you can't find a link to that PDF, go to the folder where it is installed (by default C:\Program Files (x86)\PCStitch 11). There is a PDF near the bottom of that list (sorted by name).
