Export the pattern, with stitches other than the symbols (choose the variation you like best) as a jpg. Put the whole pattern in one. That will show the pattern you are working on.
An alternative is to do a "snippet" (normal Windows Accessory - Snipping Tool) of what you see with the View Pattern option and save that to a jpg.
