Hello all!

I have just tried the PRO version, and noticed, that there's no way to browse and preview the patterns before opening them...
It was possible in the old version...
Did I miss something, or this feature truly unavailable?
I need it very much...

Hej Hammy,

try clicking on a tab called 'pattern browser' in the main window (if it's not there click on View > panels > pattern browser). Then find the folder the patterns lie in.

Happy stitching,

Amber

The browser does show thumbnails of files. However, it only shows the thumbnails of the files in Pro! For the other versions (5, 6, 7) it shows a little icon and the version number. It's kind of neat in that it is the first way I have been able to tell what version any one .pat file is in. On the other hand, if it is a "non-pro" file, there is no way to browse the file without opening it!

If you click on the file name or the icon of the old version pattern, it will generate a preview of the file in the preview window.

It would be great to if we could have the special format view patterns in with the rest of the preview patterns. I am hoping that that will be put on the to do list.
