I appear to have lost the chart I spent most of my day getting ready to stitch. I saved it regularly so that I would not have to do it again. Is there any method which will help me get my chart back?

If you saved it, it's on your drive somewhere. Open the product and try to do a save. Note WHERE it wants to save it. That should tell you where to find your pattern. (both the pattern and the backup it always makes).

Don't actually save - click "Cancel". You just want to know where the save is pointing.

Another way to find it, if you know what you named it, is to go into your Windows search box. Click on the Start button (the one that looks like the Windows logo, usually at the lower left of your screen). Immediately above it will be a box that says search programs and files . Type the pattern name in it, and click on the magnifying glass. Then double-click on it to open it.

When you save it the next time, do as Diane says: look to see where it wants to save, and change the location to the place you expected to find it.
