I've been marking completed stitches onscreen using a second set of Symbols, changing them as I go. While that works, even with some confusion I have to weed through all the time, I would still would like to highlight without changing the symbol. This would make it so much easier to get and keep bearings.
So, I see I can view stitches with filled cells on the grid, but can I select stitches and fill only those? Or, maybe, on the grid showing stitches in black/white, maybe I can select some stitches to show using color?

Dave,
At this time, the purpose of PCStitch is to create patterns and then print them for use. It is not designed to be used as the working copy of the pattern. There are no features for that right now. In any case, anything you do should be done with a COPY of the pattern, not the original.
You might suggest these ideas for future features.
