Hope someone can help me. I designed a font when I was using v9 but I've now upgraded to v10 on a new PC.
How do I move my personalised font file from v9 PC Stitch on my old PC to v10 PC Stitch on my new computer?
Many thanks
Anne

By font, I'm guessing you mean "stitched font". All you need to do is find the Stitched Fonts folders on your old PC (with version 9). It's placement varies based on what operating system you are using. If you are using Vista or Windows 7, it is under ProgramData\PCStitch 9. I'm not sure of the XP location but it would be in a place for "all users".
Just find the stitched font file that YOU created, copy it to your new computer's Stitched Font folder under the PCStitch 10 location. If the computers aren't connected, use a flashdrive as the intermediate device.
If you can't find the folders, do a search on "Stitched Fonts".

Thank you Dianne.
Another query, sorry.
I am trying to create a stitched "font" using v10 and am having a problem.
Are you able to let me know how I can stop the elements of the font being automatically centralised (width wise) in the font design square please?
I am wishing to have just just one stitch offset to the left for one "letter" but it is automatically centralised when I click save.
Many thanks |

Maybe make underscore (backstitch) of the fabric color to fill in the rest is all I can think of. I have no idea. I suggest you check with Mark on this one.

I'm trying to find a stitched font on an XP PC running v9 to move to a Windows 7 PC running v10
I've searched for "stitched fonts" but cannot find it. Could someone actually tell me where the folder will be on my XP PC - the only PC stitch folders I can find at the moment are Misc and Tutorials
Many thanks

On my machine it's: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\PCStitch 9

Oh, and the Application Data folder is hidden, so you'll need to go to Tools > Folder Options, click the View tab and select, "Show hidden files and folders" to get to it.
