What version are you running?
There is an update that came out recently. I would try to update again. It may have been a bad connection (make sure you have rebooted since your last attempt).
If nothing else, try to download the latest version from the site and run it. It should install the latest version over what you have retaining your license.
If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing (using the latest download).
I have no idea why print preview should give any sort of error. That may be something at your end. Is the printer that you're previewing for available?
