I tried submitting this on the contact page and I got "run time error"!!!!

When I send someone a chart that I made in PC7, they cannot open it, They get an error message that says: <this pattern contains info fromthe following collections which are currently not installed on
your PC: Pattern Pieces: dogs and cats.>

I didn't use any pattern pieces to create this pattern. So, why can't she open it? What should I do?

Did you open the pattern pieces while creating the pattern? The software may have interpreted that as an insertion.

One thing - I don't know your email address or the address to which you were sending but NEVER NEVER NEVER send a .pat file to a yahoo address without zipping it. Yahoo is notorious for trying to send it "inline" and that corrupts the pattern.

I suggest you email the pattern to Mark with a full explanation of the problem. He's the only one who might be able to figure out why it is claiming a library used that is not.

It was sent from hotmail to hotmail.
I would have had no reason to open the pattern pieces.

I don't know Mark.

What is the address?

Rose,

Check the thread you started in Announcements on Run time error 9. He gives you his email there and asks you to send him a copy of the pattern.

BTW - do you have the pattern piece library that it's squawking about?

The only reason I was asking was to try to see if your pattern had any basis at all for attaching itself to that library. It sounds like it does. Now the question is why THAT one out of the entire set. The 12 CDs have a great number of libraries of motifs as well as fonts (I have the full set as well).

Are you sure that the none of the fonts or libraries from the pattern pieces were ever placed in the pattern? Even if you put a library piece into the design and then remove it, the pattern will be tagged with that pattern piece.
