Posted - 01/09/2020 : 10:52:22 HELP! I was working on a pattern and thought I saved it. I then turned my computer off to move to a different room and when I went to open it back up I kept getting this error that the palette is invalid and that my file is corrupt?!
I checked the boards and saw that someone suggested taking the .bpt file and renaming the extension to .pat and I tried that, however it still didn't work for me. Ugh I am so devastated that this happened as I have never had this happen before!
Any suggestions? I suppose I should go ahead and just start over but figured this was worth a shot.
Thanks in advance!

If you shut down the computer without shutting down the program first, that may have corrupted the file.
You might try to right-click on the .pat file and try to get "previous version" to get an older form of the file so that you won't lose everything. I don't know what else you can try.
