I suggest you contact Mark at the email address I posted before and give him as much info about the issue as possible. That includes the version of Windows, the version of PCStitch, a complete description of the issue and any other pertinent info.

He's the developer - I'm just a volunteer user (used for 14 years now) and I can't help any farther.

Good Luck,

Diane

it used to identify the colors at the bottom when i hovered over the pallete. but now it doesnt.. it does still work on the side.

Where are you looking for that color information? If it's where the mouse cursor is, you won't see it. It's on the bottom - same place you see it when you hover over the floss palette.

ok i understand.Thank you SO much for your help!

NO! Your patterns are separate data files. You can put them on a flash drive or the cloud and open them on ANY installation of that level of PCStitch or later.

ok i think i can figure that out. I never did own a CD. If i uninstall will i lose all of my work?
Dragonlair Posted - 05/31/2018 : 12:46:01
Your current version should be able to be downloaded from the site. If it was originally from a CD, then you may not have the unlock code visible. If it was from a download originally, re-downloading and re-installing should not affect your unlock code.

Installing from a download when the original was from CD is an issue i don't know. I suggest you contact Mark at mmiller@pcstitch.com on that issue.

Im not sure how to do that, since I dont have the CD. Im afraid if i uninstall i will never get it back!?

Did you try a reboot? Alternatively, you can uninstall/reinstall - your unlock code should not need to be redone.

Yes I tried that , it didnt work.
Dragonlair Posted - 05/09/2018 : 17:24:13
The first thing I would try is to save your work, close down PCStitch and re-open it. See if that helps.
