Does anyone know how to GET RID of a note??? When I select "Delete Note", it even asks again if I'm sure I want to permanently delete it, but then it DOESN'T delete it. The clipboard icon is still on my screen and I can keep re-opening the Note.

Try saving the pattern after you delete the note, close the pattern an re-open it. It may be in the software somewhere that still has the pointer.
