I really like the virtual stitches in pc stitch standard but I can't get that same 'look' in the pro version.
Any suggestions?
I'm finding that I'm using my standard version more than my pro just for this reason!!

Leah,
If your pattern is large, the virtual stitches kind of blur together if you are trying to see everything. To me they look just about the same as for 7. I rarely use that setting anyway. It really makes no sense to print it that way, it's just for looking at.

Really? I wouldn't say any of my patterns are overly large.
Can I post pics to show you what I mean?
I am loving the functionality of the pro version though!! Too cool!

This software does not have the options to include an image.
I was able to upload the image (temporarily) to a public gallery (I used the gallery with Ellen Maurer-Stroh's Rose Sampler SAL).

It is somewhat reduced just to keep the size of the file down. To me, it looks the same using this type of view from either Pro or Standard.
It is a 200% zoom.

Try turning off the grid. I've seen that sort of problem on both Standard and Pro for large files. That is definitely a large design.
Sometimes the grid causes the problem.
Now that you've seen my example, I'll remove it fro my temporary place. It really doesn't below in Ellen's SAL gallery.

I have the same problem, and it doesn't matter what size the pattern is. My patterns range in size from about 60 X 60 stitches all the way up to 270 X 410. I always turn the grid off and do the image at 100%. I export every pattern from pro to standard, export the image to .bmp, then paste it into the instruction page on pro. It's a real pain!!! What you're seeing in the pro photo example is not the grid, it's the white background showing through that the virtual stitches don't cover.

Hi,
I'm just new here and am using Pc Stitch Pro. (I've had it for a while, but didn't use it. Now I can't stop!!!)
I know exactly what you are saying, because I have the same problem.
What I do is to save in Pro, then export to Standard, Open the Picture viewer and bring up the cross stitch I want in Virtual Stitches then hit Print Screen, open my Graphics program and crop and save from there.
It sounds complicated, but it isn't really!!!
