I haven't purchased this program yet... i have played with the demo but not enough... i am wondering if you can do multi color stitches... (i have store bought patterns where one symbol was 2 seperate colors put together) anyway i was wondering if this program allows for that... with the demo i scanned in a picture and it came back with using 2000 colors!!! if i chose to use less colors it really didn't look good... again i haven't use the program and i want to know if it can do what i want it to before i spend the money!
thanks

Do you refer to blended colours or one leg with colour X and other leg with colour Y?

You can make blends and you can have have one leg with one colour and other with another colour, you just need to use half stitches.

And when it comes to imported pictures... you have to tweak them to have reasonable amount of colours etc., software can't do it for you because it just sees the pixels, not the image itself. (Btw, 2000 colours sounds a bit out of this world as, for example, DMC only has about 450... )

i guess i'm talking about blended... for example you have a star symbol and that symbol represents one strand of black and one strand of green threaded into one needle... and yeah 2000 colors was insane! but i did figure out how to drop to as many or as few colors as i wanted just didn't know if there was an option for the blended.

That is blending, and you can make blends and add them to your palette in Pro (at least, I don't know about the regular version).

Yes, you can have blends in Standard as well. They just look nicer in Pro.
