Posted - 06/21/2009 : 23:12:37 I was downloading graphics from the computer to make into patterns and I was wondering if there was a way that I could condense the amount of colors without destroying the integrity of the picture. Even the simplest picture I download needs 50 colors or more to look right. I was looking at some of the samples of patterns on the pc stitch pro 9 and I was wondering how to make my pictures look like those sample patterns. Any help would be great. Thanks!!! |

Posted - 06/23/2009 : 03:31:47 You can use the free program Irfanview to reduce picture count of colours and size. Then you can use PCStitch to convert this picture into a cross stitch pattern. Or you can use my new conversion program...
Hope this helps.

Posted - 06/22/2009 : 11:21:52 Tips: 1. use a picture editor to reduce the amount of colours BEFORE importing it in any cross stitch design program. 2. reduce picture size BEFORE reducing the amount of colours.
