When I go to try to print; the cross-stitch "fabric" lines are totally overwhelming the image. Its like my words & image are on the bottom and then this material is placed on top and obstructing the view.

I like the way it looks on my computer screen pre-print; but the print previews and actual print are horrible.

I'd prefer it on 1 page (I'm trying to make design kits to sell and want it clear but small) but even having it span 6-7 pages there is the same problem.

Otherwise, I am so far very pleased with the product (just purchased yesterday) but if I can't print properly it is useless to me.

The current project I am working on is contains mostly words of a friends poem and a small cross-stitch area. Quite a few of my designs contain words, so I really need to make sure I can print them properly.

The first image is part of what I see on my computer. I like it and its working for me. The second image is what prints out. You can hardly see the design over the graph lines.

Any help would be appreciated- thank you.

(edit: this is actually much clearer on my screen; the letters must have "disappeared" when I resized the image to make it less cumbersome)

Kareena...it must be your grid line settings.

Go to 'tools'...scroll down and click on 'options'. On the window that comes up, go to the printing section and click on 'grid line settings'. See what the widths are set at. Mine are set at 2 for normal and 5 for bold. This setting makes mine print out looking like your first picture which is what I like.

Thanks! That worked wonderfully. I set mine at 3 & 6; and am very pleased with the print-out now. :)

edit:(PS mine were set at 1 & 5 for some reason; which I believe caused the problem in the 1st place)
