I'm working on a project where I have a black cross-stitch pattern done and need to do gray straight stitches over the cross stitch. How do I do this so that these stitches overlay each other when I print the design out? I'm actually entering a contest and need to show all the stitching done in the project. Thanks. Sue
9/4 I played with things a little; I found that with the specialty stitches I could click on one of those and place it over the cross stitches and it will show both stitches. But how do I decrease the size of it? Also, I thought that I could show three french knots in triangular fashion to show where the placement would have to be for the straight stitches to be put. The specialty stitches are simply a saved bunch of straight stitches. You can't adjust their size. However, the straight or back stitches on a project do normally show on top of the cross stitches when you print the design. That should not be a problem for you. As a test, you might try a small test design.
