Another future suggestion:

At present, when I want to for example decreaserows I have to use the toos/pattern sizing menu.

I'm thinking, what about putting the option in when you right click on a selected area? if one selects x many empty rows/columns, they can delete them much easier, as for increasing, one can select x many rows/colums from the right side of the selection

What you're suggesting is very similar to the way rows/columns are removed from Excel spreadsheets.

You could expand that idea. Why not do the opposite? Click and drag sideways or up/down from a point and then right click to bring a menu from which you select to insert rows or columns (depending on your direction) from the point where your mouse started. I suggest that would have to be in "select" mode so you would have a little "box" marked to use this idea. Really wild would be to use your box dimensions to define the addition of rows & columns at the same time!

It's actually a good idea but it may be VERY difficult to implement.
