I just printed off my first design. It looks great, the only thing is that the stitch symbols on the design are quite small is there some way I can enlarge them without ruining my design? Also would it help if I printed my designs onto grid paper instead of actual printer paper? Thank you.

Amber,

You control the size of the "grid" and therefore the symbols when you print your pattern. If you need it larger, then you can change the settings.

I'm sorry, I'm not very handy with computers. How do I change the size of the "grid"?

Amber,

The easist way is to:

1: Click on the Printer icon (or select Print from the File menu.
2: Under "Sizing Options" (first tab - should be visible right away), select the second "dot" (Specific Stitches per inch). That will "highlight" the number beside it
3: Change that number to a smaller number. The smaller the number, the larger the symbols (and the more pages it will take to print).
4: Select "Preview" to get an idea of if you thing the resulting page will be what you need.
5: Repeat 3 and 4 until you get what you want.
6: Print pattern.
