Happy SuperBowl Sunday!

I created a chart in PRO, exported to PCS7 via the export to PCStitch standard, when opening in PCS7, receiving an error popup that says "The key is already associated with an element of this collection" and then the usual error message and no chart. The only specialty stitches I used in PRO were french knots and the autobackstitching (love that feature) which I've used before and never had this problem.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Many thanks!

Dee,

Pro allows you to use symbols from different fonts in the same pattern. Could you have used this tool?

I export to PC7 all the time because the resulting file is so much smaller (approximately 1/3 the size of PRO) but I rarely, if ever, load PC7 software. It steals the .pat extension and it's a pain to give it back to Pro.

Other than that, the only suggestions I have are to try to do it again but use a different name. Maybe something weird happened. Did you get the standard 'success' message?

Diane

Dee,

If you want to email me the version 7 pattern, I can check it out and see what the problem might be. You can email it to me at mmiller@pcstitch.com.

Diane, Mark,
Thank you sooooo much for your help!
As I'm not one to give up easily, I've tried numerous things and still can't get the file to export.
I appreciate your offer Mark of sending you the file and will do so in a few minutes.
Again, many thanks.
Dee
