Does anyone know how to save a custom colour so it can be used in a different pattern? I have no difficulty getting the colour I want if it isn't available in the drop-down list, but can't seem to add it to the list.I've been jotting down the number values in a little notebook so I don't have to reinvent them every time. Also, I wonder if an updated version could add a few colours that are frequently used to the standard list, eg. pale blue or moss green.
It sounds like you're trying to add a new floss color. (Let me know if I'm wrong)
The way to do that is (This is from Mark):
The best way to do this is with the Floss Editor. Click the Start button, then Programs, then PCStitch Pro, then Floss Editor.
Click the Create New List button, and you can choose to start with an existing floss type, like DMC. Then just delete the flosses you don't want and change the descriptions and numbers for the ones you want.
Creating a new floss color is different than doing the background color.
I know what you mean. There is a place to "save" the custom color but it won't stay! I remember Mark making a comment about that once. It appears that it's a bug that they haven't fixed yet.
