I tried using the share feature inside PCStitch 11 to share a fractal pattern I made many years ago using PCStitch 4. But no matter how many times I tried to login I kept getting notices that what I entered was not valid. Even though the same credentials allowed me to login here and on the POL website.
Does the share feature work in PCStitch 11? Are there certain types of patterns that can be shared? Does it matter what version of the software we used? Incidentally the pattern viewer won't open my version 11 .PAT files. But the older stuff made in version 4 works like a charm.
I don't know if the share feature works in PCStitch 11 - I'm not a creator so I've never tried it.
Pattern Viewer hasn't been upgraded since PCStitch 8 so I'm not surprised that it won't open your PCStitch 11 files.
If you have access to earlier versions of PCStitch but greater than 4, you might try to open it there. I would suggest the "standard benchmark" of PCStitch 7.
In the worst case scenario - I suggest contacting Mark. He's the only one that can really answer your questions.

There is no such thing as a stupid question
Diane,
Thanks for the suggestion. I've tried emailing the programmer(s) of the software but I have never heard back from them. I tried several times over several weeks. No go. You get the feeling they're glad to take your money but don't want to provide customer support.
