Hi
I have a separately purchased floss file for Appleton wool on PC Stitch 11. Ever since I had to recently reinstall PC11 because my hard drive crashed, I can no longer edit the colors under the Floss Editor. I keep getting an error message that says "system error-object reference not set to an instance of an object". Any advice or fix for this?
Like I said, it worked normally for years but with recent reinstall it stopped. I believe I have the floss file in same folder as before.
Thanks

Did you get the floss file for Appleton Wool from myriaCross? That company no longer seems to exist. That file was called mC_Appleton_wool.col.

If you can get to the data on the machine with the crashed hard disk, possibly some of the files can be retrieved. It would be in C:\ProgramData\PCStitch 11\Flosses

If you can find that file (22 kb), just plug it into that folder and you should have it available.

NOTE -- I have no idea if this site is reputable but it looks like this may be what you need. Note -- it does duplicate some of the built-in PCStitch flosses but you can spot them because they all start with "mC_". The site -- http://www.softwaresea.com/Windows/download-myriaCross-Floss-for-PCStitch-10573001.htm

Good luck,

Diane

Hi Diane
Yes I purchased from Myria Cross and I have placed mC_Appleton_wool.col in the flosses folder. The colours all load properly - my only issue is that I can't use the Floss Editor without an error coming up. Some of the colours are not very accurate so I like to change them myself. Not sure if it's fixable.

Hi Diane
I have solved the problem. I had two Appleton wool floss files in the drop down menu (not sure why): Appletons & Appleton Wool - the later allows me to change colours in floss editor so I'm set. Thanks for your help.
Olivia.
