If the patterns were created in PCStitch 11, the only remedy is to open them IN PCStitch 11 and then save them in PCStitch 7 format. Then you can load them in PCStitch 10 and save normally. The problem is if you have used ANY features that were included since PCStitch 7 (dates back more than 10 years), you will lose those features.
Every version of PCStitch has been this way: It can be opened in that version and any subsequent version but NOT any previous version. I don't know what is in the file that is used to determine the format, just that it KNOWS!
If you had a licensed version of PCStitch 11, you can download that and you should be able to use the same unlock code as before. If there are any problems, then try the contact point to get some help. If you have patterns with both PCStitch 10 and PCStitch 11, I recommend installing your PCStitch 11.
