First, I set the options I wanted for the program, tried creating a simple image - the symbols were "5th grade cursive" - changed that. Nothing changed - it was still the same unreadable symbols and none of the options saved. I tried both the new ribbon (which I also dislike) and both the old type. Symbols refused to stay, options refused to stay. Shut down program & reopened - same. Shut down and rebooted the computer - same.

I design pretty simple charts that I wholesale to shops, sell on Etsy and my own website. I was really expecting this upgrade to enhance my work - it doesn't. Anyone know who I can go about getting a refund, while 10 has quirks I'd like to change, at least I know what it's going to do and it doesn't change all the symbols.

It has been noted that when you change the menus for the old-style menus they are not remembered. However, the ribbon isn't so much of an issue and you can minimize the ribbon (as in all programs using such) so that they only appear when you need them. There appears to be a problem in a few cases if you use large fonts of 125%

The symbols default to PCStitch 3, I believe and I have never had a problem with them. Nor have have I had a problem with any symbols defined in any pattern if that pattern has been properly saved (SAVE command).

If you are having difficulties, I recommend you use the Contact point, give complete details (the more the better) of your problems and let Mark try to work on them.

Be sure you give your proper email address so you can receive a response.
