Hello, everyone!

I purchased PCStitch Pro ages ago (10 years!) and made a pattern or two as I first started working on it. But then life got on the way and I stopped working on it.

To make a long story short: I want to access a pattern, that I backed up as a .bpt file on my cloud, but I no longer have a PC and have no access to a PC. I have a project half finished because I can't find the printed copy of the pattern.

Is there a good samaritan that would be willing to open my .bpt file, create a pdf and email it to me? It's the only way I can think of getting to access the pattern.

Thanks in advance,

Yaz

Yaz,

I'm surprised you kept the bpt but not the pat!

However, I am willing to create a PDF of the file -- it won't have a "title page", just the pattern and the key. However, a few questions -- if it is more than one page, do you want the key at the right side of the right-most page(s)? Do you want the color as well as the symbol showing? What kind of "stitches" and "backstitches" do you want, color block, color block with symbol, symbol ... and pattern or color or what for backstitches. All of that is fairly easy -- assuming I can read the .bpt file.

Just go to my profile and send me a message -- my reply will give you the email address if you cannot attach the bpt to the message for me (I don't know if you can or not -- probably not).

Good Luck,

Diane

Thanks Diane!!

Apparently I haven't made enough posts on the forum to be allowed to email others through their profiles. At the risk of giving you more to do, would you be able to message me your desired email and I'll send you the info?

All I want is the pattern and the key, it should not be more than one page, there are no backstitches (that I remember), and if the color and the symbol can both show, that would be awesome!

You're a peach!

Yaz

I'll contact you. We had to put that post limit for emails because of spammer issues. I think you're the first legitimate user to get caught in it.

Uh, I tried to send an email but it bounced!

The message I got is:

Goodness! I'm sorry for all of the trouble. I'll say this and if it doesn't work then I'll drop it and take all of the obstacles as a sign!

Can you contact me at [username]@whatdidyousay.com ?
With [username] standing for Yazimariel (trying to avoid the scanning spam bots to fill up my inbox!)

You are amazing for going through all of this for a stranger. I seriously appreciate it.

Admin Note: I "played" with the email address. Hopefully, very few people were able to see it before I used it.
