Is there a way to sort the floss palette by Manufacturer ID by default? The default seems to be User Defined, which adds floss to the palette in the order in which I add it, and I'm not sure if I can change the default User Defined sort to be by Manufacturer ID. I know that it's easy to change the palette order, but I want to not have to do that.

In Tools: Options: Default Pattern Settings: Palette Options, there's a single option to change the default symbols, but not the default order.

Any help?

Stitchmond,

You may not be able to change the default but you can change the sort of the palette on an individual pattern.

Just right click when the mouse is over anything below the header bar of the Floss Palette. Then under "Sort Palette by", select "Manufacturer ID".

I don't know if it saves it that way so you might want to list this as a feature you would like added to the software.
