When creating a pattern, the highest cloth count is 24. I have 28ct fabric that I would like to use. Does anyone know of a workaround or plans for changes to be made to the program?

You can set the count to anything you want. Note that the pattern itself is the same regardless of the count used. The only real affect is the estimate of floss usage and that does not seem to be all that accurate to begin with in my experience.

The size of the block you see on the screen may vary but the pattern itself is the same.

You can take any cross-stitch pattern anywhere and use another cloth size with no changes in the pattern. The only time any conflicts arise is if you are trying to to fractionals and your fabric either will not support it (such as using perforated paper or plastic) or is difficult because you are stitching over one and it's hard to poke through the fabric thread itself with a blunt tapestry needle.

If you're going to be stitching over 2 on the 28-ct, so that the end result is 14 stitches/inch, just set your count to 14. This will give you proper floss usage.
