On a design I am working on, the words "DMC Pattern Pieces" next to "Licensed to" appear on the bottom of my computer screen and when I print out my design(on the bottom left). I have never had anything appear next to the words Licensed to before in any other designs I have made. What can I do to get rid of this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Lee,
That would only appear if you have used a library from DMC. It's possible that this refers to the vast library of design motifs that are part of PCStitch now.
I would first check your pattern definition, particularly any design copyright information you have included. If it's not there, it must be from the libraries.
It has been found that just opening the libraries, even if you did not include any can cause this problem. I don't know if the issue has been addresses as of this time.

My design is definitely all original. I did open another file to work on a new small project and had opened the library to see if there was something to use for that project, but did not find anything. Then after finishing that small design I went back to my original design to work on it. Unbelievable ! Now, I have to redo the whole 12 x 12 design, because it is NOT licensed by DMC in any way. Definitely won't open the library of designs ever again. Bummer Let me know if this problem is ever fixed or if there is ANY way to remove it from my design. Also, is there any way to remove designs you don't want off your list of designs you have already made...like first drafts of a project, etc? |

Is there anyway I could copy and paste what I've done on my design into a new file, so I don't have to completely design the whole thing again? |

Lee,
You might be able to do that. It's worth a try. I guess you should have exited the program and re-entered it after checking the library. They are very picky about the licensing of those motifs and you can see the point. It's unfortunate they are not sophisticated enough to know if you've actually loaded a motif or just looked at them.
