I noticed that when I import an image my gif files aren't listed when I select Common Supported Graphics Files but they open fine (well, the one I tried did anyway). Is this beacuse of the Unisys patent on he LZW compression? I notice that's listed in the help files. To my knowledge the patent has expired and everyone is free to use LZW compression.

I didn't know the patent expired. I will check into this and see if we can add the GIF filter back in.
