I'm trying to change the heavy grid lines from 10x10 to 12x12, and can't find the option setting for controlling that feature. Can anyone give me a pointer?

PCG,

Check Tools > Options and then check Grid Lines under Default Pattern Settings.

Just change those last 2 numbers from 10 to 12.
