I've created my first border and came pretty close to what I wanted, but before I could apply it, it disappeared when I closed the program. I save every 10 minutes. I don't understand why it isn't in my border library, my PCS files, or in Windows Explorer. Can anyone help?

It won't go to the borders until you specifically put it there. A save every 10 minutes would place it as a normal .pat file. The first time you saved, you had to give it a name. You also had to tell it where to be placed. I would start a new file (you don't even have to add stitches for this test), and do a save. Look WHERE (what folder) it is being placed and that should tell you where your missing border pattern is located. You can cancel the save at this point. You just went to see where, rather than actually save something.

If that doesn't help, do a search of ALL .pat files on your hard drive (assuming that's where you were trying to save it). That should ferret it out although it may take some time. If you know the name of which you saved it, you can limit it to THAT file rather than all .pat files.
