I would like to import into PCStitch 6.4.13 an existing chart, which I have in graphic form. I want to do this so I can modify it. Can I do this?

Thanks.

Imports are only of images - not of charts. PCStitch 6 is no longer supported so I have no idea if it has the "underlay" feature or not.

Conversion to PCStitch of a graphic pattern can only be done manually, sometimes with an underlay to help out. It's a stitch by stitch process.

I do encourage you to upgrade to the current version of PCStitch just because of the age of what you have. PCStitch 7 has been out since 2004 so what you have is over 7 years old (at best).

I have no desire to upgrade, since what I have generally works for me. Since I can't import the charts, I wonder about the two alphabet libraries (pattern pieces). Is there a way to see what it actually on these discs. Thanks.

Some of the Pattern Piece Libraries are from PCStitch 6 and some are from PCStitch 7. There's no way to tell which is which. Unless there is a list on the site as to what motifs/stitched fonts are on any of the disk, I don't know how to tell unless you get the disks.

Note - the Pattern Piece Library fonts/motifs are considered copyrighted and cannot be used for sale of your patterns. You need to check with Mark for possible exceptions.

I found out how to see what is one the discs. I have no intention of ever selling a pattern!

I was not implying that you did intend on selling a pattern. A question about just that issue was raised a few weeks ago and that was the response from Mark. I just wanted everything to be clear in relation to your desires and needs (of which I know absolutely nothing )
