Hi All - I want to use this program to stitch pics off the web, but when I do the import wizard, they are all pixelated. How do I avoid this? Do I need to choose a different size pic?

the best imports are done with tiny images. The best conversions have 1 pixel/stitch so you need to know the size of the pattern in the first place.

Also, note what you wish to do with these patterns you create. They very rarely come out very good if you are doing them from photos of the STITCHED pieces. The designs are almost always copyrighted so if you distribute them in any way (free or pay), you are violating copyright.

Huh. I really like doing realistic fairy pictures, just for fun. I don't distribute them...I just frame & hang them. But I've had problems obtaining fairy pictures (that don't look cartoonish or childish) that come out looking clean and not pixelated when I put them through the import wizard...
