Well, lemme get to the meat of it. My father bought me PCStitch (Not sure which one it is. It was a year or so ago and at the time it was the latest version) about a year ago and I installed it on my comp just fine. No problems. I only used it once and though I had registered it but maybe I was wrong.

So, a year goes by and two moves, I'm not sure where the disk is to register it. I opened it up last night, it asked to reg., tried to find disk but couldn't so I said "later" on the option. Now, whever I am connected to the internet, it freezes up on me. :S It doesn't do this when I'm not connected. However, it will freeze up is I disconnect and open the program, then connect again.

Is there any correlation to this? I'm getting ready for another move and so I can't go through *all* my boxes looking for this disk again (Well, not until after the move.

Help? Normally I wouldn't care about being connected to the internet except I have dsl so I always am and I can't access the printer unless I'm connected.

Thanks!

And to follow up on the reg. thing, last night I went home, disconnected the comp. and looked at the "register now" thingy. It had my name and address stuff all in there, so I can't see how I *didn't* reg. if all that stuff is in there. :S

Kendrah,

I'm not sure what the problem here is, but PCStitch only connectes to the internet to check for updates or register the software, and you always have the option to not do those functions.

What are you doing when the software locks up?
