| I am having a little trouble with photos imported because the floss color on the screen is not really that close to the actual floss color. Is there a way around this? |

We try to improve the floss matching with every version, and we haven't had a whole lot of complaints with the 7 and Pro software about floss colors.
Can you give me some specific examples that are off?

Hi Mark; Just looking quickly at my pattern , using DMC floss, 433 looks more like 976, 3790 looks more like 841, 801 looks more like 435, and 632 looks more like 3779. I don't know if it just my computer. To a degree, the palette colors look a little closer to the floss colors than the pattern does. |

Len,
I looked at a couple of your examples here, and I don't see what you are seeing. What color depth do you run for Windows? If you are running in 256 color mode, the screen dithering could make a big difference in what you see vs the actual colors.
Other than that, the differenc could be in the actual monitors, but it usually isn't too pronounced.
