Posted - 12/29/2009 : 14:14:15 I have been trying to get a pattern for anything with the Royal Albert Old Country Roses pattern on it in order to modify it as part of a tablecloth design I want to do.
I have not been able to find anything which seems odd since there is so much available like china, tablecloths, etc. with that pattern. Am I just searching in the wrong places or for the wrong thing?
Any info to put me on the right track would be greatly appreciated. |

Posted - 03/09/2010 : 19:24:17 Hi Henny - a quick Google search turned up with these:
http://www.tableware.uk.com/manufacturer.asp?cboManufacturer=460 There's a pull down menu on the right which features several of the Royal Albert old Country Roses patterns.
http://www.tableware.uk.com/pattern.asp?SPID=6829DFD3-BB25-4FE5-8B27-B9EE108CE423&cboManufacturer=460&cboPattern=3236
http://www.royalalbertpatterns.com/series%20pages/Old%20Country%20Roses.htm
http://www.chinacraft.co.uk/search/Royal_Albert_china.htm
and here at http://images.google.com http://images.google.ca/images?q=Royal%20Albert%20Old%20Country%20Roses%20pattern
Then that way you should be able to grab a picture of the exact pattern you're looking for, and then import for a grapn.
Actually any fine china store there in the Netherlands will have that pattern for sale. If you were to ask for a brochure, then you could scan and import.
Hope this helps :)

Posted - 12/29/2009 : 15:28:08 Henny, I have never heard of the design myself. However, it may seem off the wall, but I suggest you join the EMS cross stitch board (if you haven't already). There is a "Looking For" forum there and the members have been wonderful at finding patterns (legitimate - if not always free) for others. The "moomin" in charge of Freebies, Birthe, is an absolute whiz at finding things.
That may be your best bet.
Good Luck,
