Here's some info that I think everyone would like to know. If you use DMC, there are additional colors that aren't available individually but are in those thread packs that have six or more colors. For example: the fluorescent pack has in addition to neon yellow and neon green, they also have pink, orange, blue, and purple (not available individually). Then there are other L.E. packs that have colors that aren't available individually. Go to www.dmc-usa.com and click on in this order: products, embroidary flosses, Light Effects, thread packs. It will show you all the 'packs' available. There are several. Also, on the page that talks about all the different typs of floss, the metalics mentions that they have changed over to the Light Effects group and have two different catagories in that group: Precious Metals and Antiques. I hope that helps anyone who uses those flosses.

Kay,

It will probably only be a matter of time before they start offering those "extra" colors individually also.

I believe that the light effects color numbers have the same base as the cotton colors with an extra code to show them as light effects.

That is much more efficient than using other number sequences when the basic color is the same. I like that idea.
