Posted - 08/20/2007 : 01:30:17 I am looking for a Christmas pattern for my sister. Some year ago she did a cross stitch for another sister and now she would like one for herself.
The pattern has a holly border with gold bells wrapped in a red ribbon in the upper right corner;the ribbon goes part way across the top and down the side. There are 2 candles and a poinsettia in the low left. In the center in a poem which goes "The spirit of Christmas is found in the singing, the bright Christmas trees and the bells that are ringing. The spirit is found in the lights everywhere --- But the meaning is found In the love people share."
I told her I would try to find it through the couple of cross stitch forums I goes to and that if I couldn't find it that way I would try to recreate it with PCStitch. I have start it using the picture I took of it while I was there. I have the poem and most of the right side completed but it is truly a work of love and I would give it up willingly if I could find a source of the real thing.
If anyone has it or know where I can find it I would really appreciate it. In the meantime I'll continue to work on it a little everyday. Thank Julia |

If you are a member of the EMS Cross Stitch Board (www.cross-stitch-board.com), they have an excellent Looking For ... forum and it's amazing how many people can help you find what you want. I suggest you try there. If you are not yet a member, it's free!
