Posted - 04/10/2025 : 15:39:35 First of all, make sure you have the setting on the preview to zoom out to see the entire picture.
Next, are you sure the clipboard image is what you want. You should SAVE that clipboard into a jpg before you import (I use irfanview for that purpose - it's free). I'm not sure that PCStitch is designed to import the raw clipboard.
Finally - make sure your image is TINY and with a simple background. The closer you get to the number of pixels to match your stitches, the better. If you don't, the software has to decide what color to use when a "stitch" is comprised of multiple pixels of different colors.
One last note -- be prepared to "tweak". An import is just the first step. It never will give you exactly what you want. It sees the image differently than you do. Even a solid black line will show as shades of gray!
