Posted - 07/21/2010 : 17:46:43 When I scroll over the icons on this program, I do not get a printed message indicating what they are. Very frustrating....I am using Windows Vista operating system and have Microsoft Works installed. Can anybody help me figure this out? Thanks. |

Posted - 07/24/2010 : 10:49:36 I have checked all my options. I am using Version 9 and I still do not get the read-out when hovering over the icon. I guess I will have to memorize what they do. Very frustrating. |

Posted - 07/21/2010 : 22:02:21 It may be where you are holding your mouse over the icons.
I don't have it loaded but you may want to check your options. What version of PCStitch Standard are you using. I have checked with both 7 and 9 Standard and it works both times. However, remember, you do have to "hover", you can't just slide across. You must pause for a bit before it shows.
Again, having the icons show their definitions on a browser or Works or anything else is totally unrelated to whether they show or not on PCStitch. Each application is totally independent.

Posted - 07/21/2010 : 20:40:45 That is exactly what I mean. The active icons within the program do not show the notice of what they do. Interestingly here in this forum, they do show. I just can't figure it out. I purchased another stitching software program and the same thing occurred. My friend purchased both the same products and her computer shows the name of the icons.....Am I doomed...I hope we can figure this out!!! Thanks for your help.quote: Originally posted by Dragonlair
Are you referring to the toolbar icons within the program? I'm running Vista32 Ultimate SP2 and I get a notice what each ACTIVE icon is. I don't know what Microsoft Works has to do with PCStitch at all. They are totally different products. The only thing they have in common is they run under Windows.
