Posted - 06/11/2006 : 22:42:11 Good Evening, I posted a problem featuring the troubles that I was having with getting my updates in pc 7. I didn't know what the adsoft storebot was then but I know now. When I downloaded 7 from the website and installed it somehow it got mixed up with my dreamweaver shopping cart program??????? and thats why I couldn't get my updates. I have never had anything like that happen to any software I have purchased on the web and downloaded directly from the web. But now I have an even bigger problem. Here it is and I really need some advise because if it's not worked out I may not have pc stitch to use. When I contacted support, and by the way pc stitch support is super! The tech person said that they would send out a cd so that I could uninstall the software and reinstall off the cd to see if that would correct the problem. Well, after 3 weeks of waiting for the cd I emailed support to let them know that I had not recieved the cd and they promptly sent a cd and I got it in whew....about 3 days. The cd was not pc stitch 7 but pro....yippy and I really thank pc stitch for the upgrade but the copy of pro doesn't work right. It runs out of memory and I cannot figure out why. It wants to update old files and in the middle of the update it crashes. I run huge programs such as dreamweaver, xara, and paint shop pro back to back with not even a glitch. The program also will crash in the middle of a design. I really would like to know how to get going so the program works for me. Oh and I now longer have a copy of the software that I downloaded from the new. When I installed pro it took over 7. Sincerely Susan |

Have you tried contacting tech support again? This sounds like a configuration problem that would be easier to handle over the phone or through direct emails than in the forums.
